Tại mỗi màn chơi trong Robo II, bạn phải tìm cách vượt qua các khẩu súng phóng tia laze được sắp xếp trên bản đồ và đưa chú robo của bạn tiến tới một cánh cửa duy nhất trên bản đồ để tới màn chơi mới.
Bạn có thể đẩy các vật dụng trên bản đồ để cản trở đường đi của các tia laze hoặc đổi hướng chúng. Bạn cũng có thể đẩy các khẩu súng vào vị trí thích hợp để chúng tiêu diệt lẫn nhau hoặc tạo ra đường đi cho bạn. Tránh đụng vào các tia laze, chúng rất nguy hiểm.
